We offer hikes of every level, from easy to strenuous. Sign-up online (www.mountaineers.org) or by calling the club house (206-284-8484).

How to Choose a Hike
Hikes vary greatly in location, length, and elevation gain. Choose a hike for your level of fitness and interest. Mountaineer hikes are classified in two ways: The difficulty level of the trail, and the pace at which the group will be traveling.

| Moderate (M) |
Up to 12 miles round trip, with 1200'-2500' of elevation gain. |
| Strenuous (S) |
Up to 14 miles round trip, with 2500'-3500' of elevation gain. (Comparable to Mt. Si) |
| Very Strenuous (VS) |
Over 14 miles round trip, and/or more than 3500' of elevation gain. |
Trip Paces
